SafeTALK Suicide Prevention Training
Description
SafeTALK is a three-hour training that prepares caregivers to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. SafeTALK is open to anyone 15 or older, regardless of prior experience. Both professionals and members of the public can benefit from SafeTALK. Suicide Prevention Center of New York (SPCNY), SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0384.
