The First New York State Grange Healt...Description
Cortland, NY --- New York State Grange announces its first annual Health and Wellness Fair for community residents and their families to be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 9:00am until 12:00noon at the NYS Grange headquarters located at 100 Grange Place, Cortland, NY 13045.
The event is free and is designed to provide health and wellness information for everyone, focusing on resources and programs about which individuals may not know are available. Agencies and organizations participating include those specializing in physical and mental health, elder care and family health, safety, nutrition, children’s programs, and more.
According to Sandra M. Green, President of the NYS Grange, “We are excited to bring new and current health resources to our communities. Health and living well are topics with ever evolving new knowledge, including drug addiction prevention and mental health for all ages, and more. Families and communities are invited to attend, learn, have fun, and take home usable information. There are crafts for the kids and, for families, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department will be making children’s ID cards. The ID cards are a must for families and help protect children. We hope all area residents will stop in and leave with valuable information.”
If there is an organization that would like to participate in the health and wellness fair please call Barb at (315)729-1787 or Emilie t (315)521-5853.
