    Landscape Crew Member: Position Summary
    Perform landscape services including installation and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and perennial plants. Raking, mulching, and fall cleanups. Landscape crew members are sometimes scheduled in our Garden Center and/or nursery areas for maintenance, client service, and other activities.

    Your attitude, enthusiasm, discipline, and attention to detail are important to meeting our mission of enhancing our clients' landscapes.
    Each time we leave a property, the client should WANT to call us to brag about the outstanding team that serviced their property that day!

    Requirements
    A valid state driver’s license and your own transportation to the job site at the start of the day, and to travel to various job sites throughout the day. 
    A can-do attitude.
    Dependability and consistency in showing up on time for work.
    A genuine enthusiasm for the job and a willingness to learn new skills.
    The ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
    Good work habits, including always picking up after yourself as you move through the day and as you leave each property.
    Attentive to detail, flexible, and focused on accomplishing the task at hand.
    The ability to safely lift heavy objects.
    The stamina to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
    Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions. 
    Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in landscaping is helpful. Comprehension of safe use of hand tools like pruners, hand shears, rakes, shovels, and mulch forks. Awareness of safe use of weed eaters, hedge trimmers, chain saws and bed edgers.
    Level head and ability to keep calm and control actions and speech during any interaction with clients or other team member in stressful situations.
    Ability to stay focused and get along with people.
    Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
    Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and spoken instructions.

    Physical Requirements
    Excellent stamina is required. This job is very physical.
    You will need to lift, push, pull, and carry objects. Hand and arm strength is required to pull starter ropes on weed eaters, hedgers and other power equipment.

    Heavy-duty shoes are required to be provided by each landscape crew member. 
    Employees are required to begin the day in clean, untattered clothes. 

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour
    Expected hours: Up to 40 per week but we are willing to work with your schedule. We are a seasonal business. Some weekend work may be required, and hours vary depending on time of year, jobs sold, and client timelines.
