    The Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, assisting with marketing tasks, inputting loan applications, and helping guide clients through the loan process from application to closing. You will also run credit checks, help maintain compliance, and assist in tracking conditions to keep loans moving forward efficiently.
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Interaction:
      • Greet and welcome clients in person and on the phone.
      • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general inquiries.
      • Follow up with clients to collect necessary documentation or clarify conditions.
    • Loan Processing Support:
      • Assist with data entry of loan applications into the loan origination system.
      • Pull credit reports for new loan applicants.
      • Run automated underwriting engines to assess loan eligibility.
      • Track and follow up on loan conditions to ensure timely completion.
    • Marketing Support:
      • Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media management, email campaigns, and creating marketing materials.
      • Manage the customer database and maintain accurate records of client communications.
    • Office Management:
      • Maintain the physical office, including organization and supply management.
      • Schedule appointments and manage the loan originator’s calendar.
      • Handle general office administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
    Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in a mortgage, real estate, or financial services environment preferred but not required.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic familiarity with loan origination systems.
    • Comfortable with learning and using technology such as credit report software and automated underwriting systems.
    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
