Budtender

Classy Canna is seeking passionate and personable Budtenders to join our crew. An ideal candidate has extensive cannabis product knowledge and customer service experience.

Budtenders at Classy Canna provide friendly and helpful customer service, guiding customers to the best cannabis products to fit their unique needs. While doing so, a budtender must maintain compliance with all cannabis retail regulations and keep the sales floor and display cases clean and orderly.

Qualified applicants have retail sales and customer service experience. Cannabis industry experience is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide quality customer service that encourages customer loyalty

* Educate customers and politely handle their questions, concerns, and complaints

* Operate point of sale software to complete sales

* Handle cash and any other payment methods

* Assist with opening and closing following standard operating procedures (SOPs)

* Maintain sales floor, including restocking merchandise and cleaning/organizing displays

* Meet sales quotas

Qualifications:

Required:  

• Friendly, personable, and service-oriented.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Passionate about learning and staying current on cannabis products and trends.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Ability to pass a background check with no disqualifying offenses per state cannabis laws.

Preferred:  

• 1-3 years experience in retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.

• Knowledge of cannabis products and familiarity with state regulations.

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory software.

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and handle stock in a retail environment.

Job Types: Part-time

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
